Cancellations

 

ALL cancellations made by the client on the day of the session will incur the cost of the full session fee. Similarly, if a client does not attend, has not notified the counsellor and is not contactable, they will not be able to make another appointment until the outstanding fee has been paid. As demand for lower-cost services is high, the client may also lose their slot and may need to rejoin the waiting list, as their slot may be allocated to another client on the waiting list.

Cancellations made within 48 hours for a Wed eve session will also incur the full session fee.

Please ensure that you are familiar with the cancellation policy before joining the waiting list. If you DO join the waiting list, you are advised to store the telephone number so that it is recognisable to you when you are contacted with the offer of a slot. Westside Therapy will make three attempts to contact you. If you repeatedly do not answer, or do not return our call (if messages have been left for you) your name will be removed from the waiting list. By joining the list and engaging in therapy, you agree for Westside Therapy to retain your contact/personal information (as per the 2018 GDPRs) until conclusion of counselling whereupon it will be securely stored for 7 years before being destroyed.
